Workshop: Biomedical Applications of Electromagnetic Energy

The Biomedical Applications of Electromagnetic energy workshop will focus on electromagnetic energy in the area of healthcare innovations and point-of-care technologies and their clinical translation to address challenges in global healthcare. A main feature of the workshop is the technological developments made by members of the SUMCASTEC project.

The overall objective of the event is to develop new cancer therapies which will make a real difference to the lives of patients throughout the world. This day is an opportunity to set up collaborations with fellow researchers and develop relationships with potential partners from medical and various engineering disciplines.

We invite physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, engineers, innovators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, researchers, and academia to attend the event.
